We’re now looking for a Frontend Developer who can bring Unimad’s UX vision to life. Someone who loves creating clean, responsive UI, thrives in Next.js 14/15, and isn’t afraid of tackling complex editor frameworks or rapid iterations.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

<aside> 👉

Build UI with impact Design, develop, and maintain frontend features using Next.js (App Router), Tailwind CSS, and Shadcn components.

Editor customisation Work with rich editors like BlockNote and Tiptap, extending menus, blocks, and plugins, handling drag-and-drop

State & API management Use Zustand and React Query to manage state and integrate with Django DRF APIs.

Handle assets & content

Work with PDFs (react-pdf/renderer, viewer) and MDX-based content surfaces.

Collaborate across teams Work closely with our backend team to build seamless, integrated product features.

✅ Must-Haves

<aside>

• 1–3 years of hands-on React experience, strong JavaScript fundamentals
• Strong skills in Next.js 14/15 (App Router, server components)
• Proficiency with React Query, Zustand, Tailwind CSS
• Basic Python/Django literacy (enough to collaborate with backend team)
• Comfortable with Git workflows and collaborative development </aside>

✨ Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Tiptap/ProseMirror or BlockNote
• Knowledge of drag-and-drop implementations (dnd-kit)
• Experience with React PDF or PDF rendering
• Familiarity with SEO/MDX content and performance profiling (Lighthouse, CLS)
• Animations using Framer Motion or similar libraries
• Understanding of Django REST Framework basics (models, views, serializers) </aside>
